DLG represented homeowners in the Court of Appeal who challenged the decision of the lower court with regard to a sale of their home that did not close. The Court provided a detailed analysis the requirements for the payment of a deposit in a real estate contract and the implications of real estate agents acting for both buyer and seller, in what had become a widely cited decision.
